LOCATION
Apartment ‘Cityhome’ has the ideal location for anybody who loves the city, but at the same time also wants to get a good night rest as well. Literally a stone’s throw away from the ‘Rijksmuseum’ which houses the famous painting ‘Nightwatch’, Leidse Square with its gorgeous City Theatre and just walking distance from the ‘Vondelpark’ and the ‘P.C. hoofdstraat’ (shopping district). You won’t want for a better location than this!
GETTING THERE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The tram stop is just around the corner from your apartment and the 1, 2 or 5 trams take you directly to central station in approx 10 min. From Amsterdam Central Station you can reach Schiphol Airport in 10 minutes by train.

GETTING THERE BY CAR
By car you can reach the apartment via the ‘Overtoom’ or the ‘Stadshouderkade’ from the ring highway A10 very simply. We recommend that you park your car at Q-park at the ‘Lelylaan’ Station (max. € 7,80 per day) and then take tram number 1 to the apartment (exiting at the Leidse Square), allowing your car to be parked safely and inexpensively.
ATTRACTIONS AMSTERDAM
There are so many to mention: Leidse Square, Kalverstraat and P.C. Hoofdstraat (shopping), Jordaan with its ‘Negen straatjes’ (old district), Madame Tussauds, Vondelpark, Anne Frank House, Sex museum, Red light district, Van Gogh museum, Rijksmuseum, Palace on Dam square, New Church, ‘Albert Cuyp’ market, ‘Waterloop’ Square (jumble sale), ‘Beurs van Berlage’ (exchange market) etc. etc. A great way to see Amsterdam is from the water with the hop-on, hop off canal tour, which takes you through all the famous canals with its monumental houses and allows you to hop off at 20 different points and visit Amsterdam’s most famous attractions.
ATTRACTIONS NETHERLANDS
If you have time or if you’re thinking about coming back to visit us? Around Amsterdam there are many other worthwhile attractions. For example: Keukenhof (flower expo), traditional eel village Volendam, the famous cheese market of Alkmaar etc. Beach weather? From Amsterdam you can reach the Zandvoort Beach by train in just 25 minutes.
